Villa Bougainville by Happyculture

Very kind receptionist! We arrived earlier (around 9am) to leave our luggage and they already had the room ready, just awesome. Also, they have a cute lobby where you can get a very good coffee and other hot drinks for free and also you can refill the water from their water dispenser. We were thrilled. Rooms are small but cozy. You can find everything in it; water kettle, coffee, tea, safe deposit box, fridge and all the necessary supplies in the bathroom.

The room had a very nice design, lots of closet spce and a there was a desk and a small balcony as well. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good for French standards. Lots of options, fresh pancakes, mini croissants, eggs, cereal and different types of cheese and meat. There was free coffee, tea and water all day.

The staff were incredibly friendly, each time we came to and from the hotel there was a friendly hello/goodbye and I noticed on many occasions them helping others guests with their needs. They were very approachable. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and checked in frequently if we needed anything. The room was really lovely and well decorated, a little on the small side but given the city has so much to offer we were barely there so this was no issue. The location is perfect for anyone wishing to alternate between Nice, Cannes and Monaco as the distance between the beach and train station is barely anything. It was a very handy location. For anyone looking for a little less city bustle there was no noise from the outside and you're not having to sacrifice being far away for this. Finally there are reviews about the noise. There was some but not enough to put off ever staying here again. Noise was from other guests and not the location. It was not a problem for us.

Very bright, modern furnishings, very clean with comfortable beds and a powerful shower. We chose the hotel for its location (easy walking distance from the station), as it was just a one-nighter, travelling back to our home in south-west France after travelling around northern Italy by train. We expected some road/rail noise because of its location but the hotel had catered for this by providing ear-plugs and we both slept very well. The receptionist was very cheerful and recommended a nearby Thai hotel for our late dinner and this proved to be a real gem.

Staff friendly. We got a beverage and chocolate upon arrival and there was complimentary water and coffee all day. Great decor. They also beach umbrellas and mats.
